The Lower Mainland Network for Affordable Housing brings together a wide array of housing providers, community groups, service agencies, neighbourhood associations, advocacy groups, consultants, developers and community planners who meet mostly in Vancouver to network and exchange ideas in order to promote affordable housing and to encourage local decision-makers and the general public to explore and initiate affordable housing options and alternatives.

The goal of this website is to provide housing information to engage the public and the development community in assessing and addressing some of the critical housing affordability issues and opportunities in the Lower Mainland.  By engaging public discussion about meeting current and future needs, the Network hopes to strengthen partnerships for housing to meet these identified needs in a sustainable way.

Act to support affordable housing municipally, provincially, federally and in our backyards!  Tell national, provincial and local leaders and decision-makers what you think is important by phone, e-mail and fax.

Attend public hearings and community meetings, keep affordable housing for all types of households high on the agenda. Keep in touch with the Affordable Housing Network.  Let us know about topics of interest to promote affordable housing.

The Network is in the process of updating this website and plans to begin a new schedule of community meetings in the near future.  Stay tuned for future developments.
